I love stories that take place in the South--from Steel Magnolias to Whitney Dineen's Creek Water Series, they captivate me every time. That's why I didn't have a fighting chance with "Southern Mommas: a Tale by Tallulah Louise." I was hooked from the very first page, falling for each new character as they made an appearance. Maribelle McCrea did a fantastic job developing the characters and crafting the relationships. I had such a hard time putting this one down, I had to download the audio book so I could finish "reading" it faster. Can't wait for more from this debut author--"Southern Mommas" has officially made me a big fan.

Loved "Southern Mommas" and was happy the follow up followed suit! The characters I fell in love with were back, and a few more colorful characters joined the cast this time around for an enjoyable adventure. Putting a wedding together while trying to stay sane is challenging under any circumstances, but try doing it while family members are trying to sabotage you! A true romance, "Tallulah Gets Hitched" has a happily ever after, and I'm already looking forward to the next Southern tale from Maribelle McCrea.

I loved this book! I can't believe how many times that I actually laughed out loud. I can not remember the last time a book had me giggling. Good job Maribelle McCrea!!

Southern Mommas: A Tale by Tallulah Louise is a breath of fresh air and a delight to read. Maribelle McCrea engulfs us in a big “Southern Momma” hug as Tallulah, a young adult, tells her tale of growing up with a Southern Momma and living in the South. Tallulah’s Southern Mom, Jilly, is someone we all know or wish we did! You will laugh, cheer, celebrate life and Christmas, and feel a part of Tallulah’s family as you read this novel. I recommend Southern Mommas A Tale by Tallulah Louise to anyone who loves a heartwarming tale.

I loved this book, and it took me back to my southern roots and of course I saw a lot of my family when I read this. I connected with the characters in so many ways and found this book to be delightful and inspiring. This is a well written descriptive book that I know I will read over again! I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

This was my first book by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it! A lighthearted story with serious real life undertones. I love the way the author splashed it with just enough humor to keep it interesting! I will be reading more from this author!

I love the Southern aspect of Mcrea's books. Witty and fun. If you're anything like me then this book will make you feel right at home.

I have never read anything by Maribelle McCrea before. This is book one in a new series. It sure has that southern momma's charm. Loved the setting, the plot, and the southern cast of characters. I look forward to book two in the series.
